An axolotl holds an umbrella beside a little frog in this axolotl and frog coloring page. Raindrops, rain boots and a puddle give the friends a clear rainy-day setting, with broad shapes for bright umbrella colors and little water details.

Two Friends Sharing a Rainy Day

The umbrella makes the action clear: the axolotl is out in the rain, wearing little boots and standing in a puddle beside a frog. A cloud and scattered raindrops fill the upper space without hiding either face. The long umbrella handle gives the character something to hold, while the small frog creates a second focal detail near the ground.

Color Rain Gear and Water

Try a bright umbrella above a pale blue puddle, with a different color on the boots so they remain easy to see. You can alternate colors across the umbrella panels or keep them coordinated. Use lighter strokes for the raindrops and a richer green for the frog. The axolotl's cheeks and scalloped gills offer small finishing accents after the broad shapes are complete.

Tell a Wet-Weather Story

Imagine where the pair are going after the rain stops. They might be visiting a garden or looking for puddles along a path. This picture suits a weather-themed coloring session or a simple animal-friendship story. A sharper pencil helps around the umbrella handle and frog's feet; crayons can cover the larger canopy panels. Add a story title on a separate strip beside the finished page.
