💛📖 About This Baptism of Jesus Coloring Page
John stands beside Jesus and lifts water above his head while a dove appears overhead. The picture introduces a particular Gospel event, not a generic scene of washing. Jesus’ joined hands and the dove give families details to discuss during a Bible-story session. It also makes a helpful comparison with the infant baptism design, which shows a baby, caregiver, priest, and font instead.
🎨 Color Ideas for Baptism of Jesus
Use a light blue around the figures to suggest water and a different warm shade for each robe. Leave the dove mostly white, with a little yellow or blue around it if desired.
💛 A Small Activity to Share
Invite a child to point out the person pouring water and the person being baptized. Read the story together and notice the dove. Keep the explanation tied to your family’s or church’s teaching.
