💛🌿 About This Be Strong and Courageous Coloring Page
The smiling lion sits beneath a shield containing the courage message. The printed Inspired by Joshua 1:9 wording matters: this is a short, child-friendly design based on the passage, not a complete verse quotation. The lion and shield are illustrative choices rather than characters from that verse. Families can connect the page with reassurance and supported courage when a child faces something unfamiliar.
📖 Scripture Reference and Wording
The printed reference is Joshua 1:9. The artwork explicitly says “Inspired by,” and that wording is preserved. The design presents a shortened or adapted phrase, not the complete passage. Read the full passage in your family’s preferred Bible for its surrounding meaning; no particular translation is claimed for the artwork.
🎨 Color Ideas for Be Strong and Courageous
Try a golden mane against a lighter lion’s face and a blue or green shield. Keep the letters in a contrasting shade so the message stays clear. Small pencils help around the narrow spaces inside the words.
💛 A Small Activity to Share
Ask the child to name a trusted person who helps when something feels new. They can draw one small star beside the shield while a grown-up discusses courage without promising that difficult things will never happen.
