🥟 Dumpling Family Coloring Page – Free Printable 🥟

One large smiling dumpling and two smaller dumplings form a sweet little family in this kawaii coloring page, with gently pleated tops and plenty of open coloring space.

Meet the Little Dumpling Family

One large dumpling and two smaller dumplings form this simple kawaii family. The rounded bodies and pinched tops make the food recognizable, while the faces give each character a little personality. There is no surrounding restaurant or basket to fill, so the attention stays on the group. The difference in size also makes this a good choice for anyone who enjoys a clear, gentle character picture rather than a densely detailed scene.

Keep the Dumplings Soft and Bright

Try ivory, pale peach or warm cream for the wrappers, with a slightly deeper shade along the pleats. Tiny pink cheeks can bring the faces forward without covering their expressions. A different pastel for each dumpling creates a playful family portrait. If you prefer a mostly white dumpling, use very light gray along the outer curve and leave the middle of the wrapper uncolored for a soft highlight.

Give the Family a Story

Choose a name for each dumpling and imagine what the three are doing together. They could be getting ready for a picnic or greeting someone at a family dinner. A child can dictate the story while a grown-up writes it on a separate sheet. Friends and siblings can also color different versions of the family and compare the expressions they notice. The design is food-inspired artwork, with no squishy toy or keychain pictured.
