A First-Place Skating Portrait
The skater stands on the middle platform marked one, with the lower numbered steps at either side. Her medal and bouquet make the celebration clear, while the boots and dress keep the award connected to figure skating. The podium creates the structure of the picture, distinguishing it from the waving medalist standing directly on the ice.
Give the Podium Its Own Palette
Choose one base shade for all three platforms or vary the steps with related colors. Keep the numbers contrasting and easy to see. The medal can use a gold-inspired tone, while flowers introduce brighter accents that repeat in the bow or costume trim. Leave the skate blades light with a little gray along their lower edges.
Tell the Story Behind the Flowers
Imagine the event has just ended and the skater is enjoying a happy moment. Add an original competition name on another sheet if you want to display the finished page. You can color the larger podium shapes first, then spend time on the small petals, medal ribbon and bow to complete the portrait at a relaxed pace.
