Long Straps Frame the Gymnast
Two straps descend from the top of the picture toward the rings in the girl's hands. Her extended body crosses the space beneath them, creating a contrast between tall apparatus lines and a horizontal character pose. The star costume and small bun are the main decorative details within this closely framed rings illustration.
Color from the Straps Inward
Give the straps a quiet gray or tan, then select a stronger costume shade so the athlete stays central. The rings can share the strap color or use a slightly warmer tone. A small bright star can coordinate with a hair accent, while the open background leaves room for soft, restrained shading.
Compare Two Rings Compositions
This page and the shorter-strap rings picture show closely related sideways poses with different amounts of apparatus framing. You can use matching colors to compare the illustrations, or choose a separate palette for each. Keep the activity focused on the shapes in the drawing rather than naming an unsupported technical move or attempting the pose.
