💛📖 About This Palm Sunday: Jesus and Children Coloring Page
Jesus rides a donkey between two children holding palm branches. The leaves and welcoming group identify a Palm Sunday theme, making the printable useful near the start of Holy Week. The scene is simplified for children rather than showing a crowded city procession. It also offers a clear contrast with the pages of the Last Supper and the empty tomb later in the Easter story.
🎨 Color Ideas for Palm Sunday: Jesus and Children
Green palm leaves can stand apart from a gray donkey and warm earth-colored path. Let each child’s clothing use a different shade. A light robe keeps Jesus visible against the animal’s back.
💛 A Small Activity to Share
Look for the long leaves before starting. Families can talk about a Palm Sunday service they attend or retell the welcome in the Gospel story. Children may add a few small leaves along the path.
