💗🌼 About This Kind Words Are Sweet Coloring Page
Two bees hover beside a honey pot, dipper, and honeycomb. The words Kind Words Are Sweet offer a child-friendly paraphrase of Proverbs 16:24, which compares pleasant words with honey. The artwork does not print the full verse. The sweet-food imagery helps children connect the idea with something familiar before talking about what encouraging words can sound like at home or in a classroom.
📖 Scripture Reference and Wording
The printed reference is Proverbs 16:24. The design presents a shortened or adapted phrase, not the complete passage. Read the full passage in your family’s preferred Bible for its surrounding meaning; no particular translation is claimed for the artwork.
🎨 Color Ideas for Kind Words Are Sweet
Golden honey can contrast with a blue or brown jar and yellow-and-black bees. A pale wing color keeps the tiny outlines visible. Use a second warm shade in the honeycomb cells rather than covering every line with a dark marker.
💛 A Small Activity to Share
Ask the child for one kind sentence they could say to someone today. Write it beside the picture in the child’s own words. A grown-up may read the passage and explain how its comparison connects with the honey illustration.
