🌞🌷 About This This Is the Day the Lord Has Made Coloring Page
A smiling sun peeks over a circle framed by three flowers, with the day-themed phrase inside. Psalm 118:24 is the printed reference. The artwork gives a shortened, modernized part of the verse rather than the full text. Morning light and blooms create an inviting setting for a gratitude activity. Families can enjoy the cheerful picture without suggesting that every day must feel happy all the time.
📖 Scripture Reference and Wording
The printed reference is Psalm 118:24. The design presents a shortened or adapted phrase, not the complete passage. Read the full passage in your family’s preferred Bible for its surrounding meaning; no particular translation is claimed for the artwork.
🎨 Color Ideas for This Is the Day the Lord Has Made
Try warm yellow on the sun and three different flower colors around the circle. Pale blue in the background can leave the central words clear. A simple alternating letter pattern works well in the broad outlines.
💛 A Small Activity to Share
Ask the child to name one thing they notice about today, such as the weather or a planned activity. They can draw a small detail nearby. A grown-up may read the full verse separately and welcome whatever feelings the child shares.
