💛📖 About This Jesus Calms the Storm Coloring Page
Jesus raises a hand from a boat while two disciples sit nearby above rolling waves. The small group brings attention to the Gospel story’s boat and water rather than a large crowd. Families can talk about the disciples’ fear and Jesus’ response in simple, reassuring language. The coloring activity does not require a dark or frightening sky to tell the scene clearly.
🎨 Color Ideas for Jesus Calms the Storm
Try two or three blues on the waves and a warm brown hull. A contrasting robe makes Jesus easy to identify. Leave the faces and raised hand clear, and use a light sky color around the cloud if desired.
💛 A Small Activity to Share
Follow the wave lines with a finger, then find the boat’s edge. After hearing the story, ask the child what they notice about the people’s positions. A grown-up can listen to any questions about feeling afraid.
